This page describes the local preview, before cloud services are connected.

Where your inventory lives

Inventory, item notes, and activity are saved in IndexedDB in the browser you use. The preview does not send those records to an Averilo API. Another device or browser will not see them. Clearing site data, using a private session, or losing the device can remove your inventory.

Backups you control

Export creates a JSON file on your device, including inventory and stored activity. Restore replaces the preview's current data after you confirm. Keep backups private: notes may contain personal information. This format is for the Web preview, not the mobile app's cloud export.

Site connections

The preview contains no analytics script, advertising pixels, external fonts, account sign-in, or payment form. Your browser still requests site files from the host. A deployed host can process connection information such as IP addresses and request logs; its configuration needs review before public launch.

Deleting local data

Use your browser's site-data settings to remove Averilo's storage. A deleted inventory batch remains in exported activity and backup records until site data is cleared or replaced. Deleting browser data does not delete previously downloaded backup files.

Before public launch

The operator's identity, support contact, hosting details, retention practices, and any future account or cloud processing will be added to the public privacy policy. This technical preview notice does not describe a live cloud service.
